In 2018, VOLTAGE GRID began in our workshop on Microlith Rd in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Frustrated by corporate digital synths that hid their sound engines inside menus and plastic knobs, we set out to build an architecture centered on raw analog signals and tactile patch cables.
Today, we work with 42 independent workshop labs across New Mexico, New York, Portland, Tokyo, Krakow, and Berlin. Every module on our shelf features 3U aluminum faceplates, discrete component hand-soldering, and individual voltage calibration.
